 The Mountainside Lodge features 73 guestrooms, all of which come complete with full kitchens, fireplaces, and jetted tubs. Two full bathrooms means that no one has to wait in line, and the jetted tub in one of the bathrooms is a luxurious way to relax sore muscles. In addition to a full kitchen, this intimate studio features a bathroom with jetted tub, ideal for easing well-used muscles. A separate bedroom adds an element of privacy to this suite, which also offers a jetted tub and fireplace. A private sauna is this suite?s extra-special bonus. Studio Suite - These cozy rooms have one queen-sized Murphy bed plus a twin trundle bed, and can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Turn right onto Taylor Way (at stop light) and head up the hill. Turn right onto Blackcomb Way and drive to a flashing traffic light; turn right at this light and follow the street around the building on the right to the hotel?s front entrance. Turn left onto Georgia St and head west. This road takes you through Stanley Park, then over the Lions Gate Bridge. The Trattoria is open daily for lunch and dinner. The Trattoria di Umberto is conveniently located on the Mountainside Lodge property. Take this onto Hwy 99/Sea-to-Sky Hwy and it north to Whistler. Take the bridge into Vancouver and exit onto Granville St/Hwy 99. Take the West Vancouver exit off the bridge; this street circles around under the bridge to Marine Dr. Stay in the right-hand lane and drive over a green bridge. Once under the overpass, turn left onto Hwy 1/Trans-Canada Hwy. Merge left when approaching Hwy 1 overpass. Highway 1 is visible from the crest of the hill. Head west on Hwy 1 and watch for the right-hand turnoff for Squamish and Whistler. Exit the bridge onto Seymour St/Hwy 99 and continue to Georgia St. Continue north on Granville into downtown and over the Granville Street Bridge. Trattoria di Umberto - Dine on fine Italian cuisine in a casual, mountainside atmosphere. Driving directions from Vancouver International Airport: From the airport, follow signs for Hwy 99/Vancouver onto the Arthur Laing Bridge. Once in Whistler, turn right onto Village Gate Blvd and follow it to a stop sign at Blackcomb Way.
